New Pipeliner CRM “Fitness” Feature: Truly Useful Artificial Intelligence


It should be the objective of any CRM solution–and it certainly is with Pipeliner CRM–to instantly communicate the state of any opportunity in the pipeline. That is why Pipeliner is completely visual, so that salespeople, sales management, and any other CRM user can rapidly assess the state of any opportunity, pipeline, salesperson or sales team. They can be totally proactive as regards deals and their pipelines, rather than reactive. This is where Voyager, the Pipeliner CRM Artificial Intelligence Engine kicks in–and the latest example is our CRM Fitness feature. This feature is part of Pipeliner CRM 13.1, released today. It answers the question of how “fit” an opportunity is to close, and is part of many different displays within Pipeliner CRM.

We have brought together several different parameters to indicate an opportunity’s fitness. Here is the color coding utilizing by the Fitness feature, within Pipeliner CRM:

Opportunity Fitness

Green: Fit

  • There are activities scheduled related to this opportunity, AND
  • There are no overdue tasks related to this opportunity, AND
  • The opportunity is on target to close on time.

Yellow: Attention

  • There are no scheduled activities related to this opportunity

Red: Action

  • The closing date is overdue, OR
  • There is an overdue task related to this opportunity.

Seen Throughout Pipeliner

Fitness can be observed in numerous screens throughout Pipeliner CRM.

It is easily observed within the Pipeline View, which visually displays all opportunities within a sales pipeline. Mouse over any opportunity, and amongst other vital info such as sales velocity and ranking (lead scoring), is displayed the opportunity’s fitness–Green, Yellow, or Red.

Fitness can also be seen in the List View, Compact View, Bubble Chart View, and in many other places.

Fitness has also been added into Pipeliner’s filter functionality, allowing you to filter deals as to their current state of fitness. Pipeliner offers you many ways to visualize and instantly filter data so that you can have the precise view you need, and allows you to save views that you know you’re going to regularly use—with our Profiles Feature.

Report Enhancements


In correlation with our new Fitness Feature, we have also released today a colorizing upgrade to our reporting features. You can now color columns in reports, so that you can immediately show areas that need attention. You can now also freeze panes.
