Infotoxification Antidote – Free Sales Resources

Your Antidote to Infotoxification

People sure love to invent new terms. Did you know that “Information Overload” is now also referred to as “Infobesity” or even “Infotoxication“? (Shoutout to Wikipedia for these!).

But regardless of what you call it, the reality is that there is a tipping point at which you end up with too many choices, which results in decision paralysis. Barry Schwartz documented this in his book The Paradox of Choice nearly 15 years ago. If you consider that our choices in almost everything have probably exploded since that book was published, our decision paralysis is likely now chronic or even fatal!

There is even a lot of discussion recently about relationships that points to an interesting fact: Having access to so many dating apps and sites has made it more difficult for people to commit to, or even chose, a prospective partner – the “but what if something better is on the next page syndrome” – and so some people are actually staying single longer and dating less. Quite the paradox, don’t you think?

But let’s get back to the business world. To be honest, the wholesale adoption of content marketing and the championing of inbound strategies over the past number of years has contributed in no small way to business information overload. It seems like nearly everybody blogs, and pretty much everybody shares. Sometimes I wonder: does anyone actually read? (And yes I do get the irony of me writing a blog post and alluding to the overabundance of blog posts that flood our screens daily–but please bear with me).

Here at Pipeliner we believe deeply in education and helping salespeople become more informed, and indeed we want to help with the overall professionalism of sales in general. So we became very concerned that while there was a lot of great sales resources out there, they were getting drowned out by the noise. That is why we started Sales POP! and dedicated ourselves to delivering the best sales-related content from the best sales experts across across a wide spectrum of opinion. Today we have well over 200 contributors and content in multi-formats, from text to video to audio to infographic, and more, and pay close attention to quality and relevancy. In other words, we have decided to do the work for you and allow you ignore the noise, and provide you with a go-to place where the best content has already been selected.

We are happy to report that our audience numbers are growing rapidly and we are receiving incredible feedback on the free sales resources we are providing.

Our goal is continuous improvement…and to become your antidote to Infotoxification!
